Get to Know the Provider
How do you approach care?
I strive to create trusting partnerships with my patients to approach their care. If a patient feels informed about their medical diagnoses and treatment options and acts as a stakeholder in their care plan, I’ve done my job!
What inspired you to pursue a career in healthcare and your specialty?
As a healthcare provider, I feel honored to have a career with the primary goal of improving the lives of others. I am looking forward to adapting to medical advances in the coming decades in pursuit of that goal. As an Ob/Gyn, I have the privilege of caring for people in their most vulnerable and uncertain, but also beautiful and life altering moments. I consider myself an advocate for my patients and am looking forward to continuing a career dedicated to Women’s Health.
Why did you choose to join Sturdy Health?
I’m excited to be joining a hospital with strong ties to its local community. Sturdy has a number of new and important initiatives including the cancer care collaboration that will benefit my patients. I am also looking forward to the mentorship opportunities I will have as a new graduate by joining a practice with incredibly experienced and dedicated providers.
What are your personal interests?
My family is the most important thing in my life, and I spend as much time as possible with my husband and two children. I love to travel with (and without!) my kids. I enjoy exploring my local community as well and finding new beaches, farm stands, cafes and restaurants to experience. I am also known to get lost in a good book, especially on a beach!
