Gastroenterology Pathology Conference

Sturdy Memorial's Gastroenterology Pathology Conference is attended by the entire GI division, including gastroenterologists, pathologists, assistants, and nurses.

At each conference, the team reviews all of the previous week's endoscopic biopsies for neoplasia, inflammatory bowel disease, gastric inflammatory disease and gastro-esophageal reflux, and liver biopsies. The conference is intended for both multidisciplinary correlation and examination of each case, as well as case management. The goal of the conference is to ensure that each case is reviewed thoroughly, allowing the team to develop the most comprehensive set of appropriate treatment options for each patient.
