Rosa Greer, MS CCC-SLP
Outpatient Speech Therapist

Rosa GreerRosa Greer, MS CCC-SLP, is our Outpatient Speech Therapist. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at University of Miami and went on to receive her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology at Nova Southeastern University. Rosa has over 31 years of clinical experience including working in several different settings including acute care hospitals, comprehensive rehabilitation units, and adult and pediatric hospital-based outpatient facilities. Her specialties are adult cerebrovascular accidents, neurodegenerative disorders, voice and swallow disorders. She is certified in Modified Barium Swallow Impairment Profile and performs Modified Barium Swallow Studies. 

Jessica Cavallini, MS CCC-SLP
Inpatient Speech Therapist

Jessica CavalliniJessica received her B.S. in Biology with a minor in Biochemistry from Fairfield University. She went on to receive a Master of Science in Communication disorders from University of Rhode Island and proceeded to complete her Clinical fellowship at Fairlawn Acute Rehabilitation. She has over 24 years of experience, ranging from Fairlawn Rehabilitation, RI Hospital/Hasbro, Kent Hospital, Outpatient SLP services, and Management of SLP caseloads at nursing home facilities. Jessica has been with Sturdy for over 14 years. Her focus is diagnosis and treatment of  swallowing disorders, performance of Modified Barium Swallow Studies, diagnosis and treatment of Motor Speech Disorders, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), head and neck cancers, diagnosis and treatment of adult speech and language disorders, and diagnosis and treatment of Adult Cognition-linguistic impairment. She is Sturdy Health's Inpatient Speech Therapist.

Kathleen Farroba, PT, DPT, GCS
Director, Rehabilitation Services

Kathleen Farroba

Kathleen Farroba, PT, DPT, GCS is the Director of Rehabilitation Services at Sturdy Health. Kathleen received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northeastern University and is a Board-Certified Geriatric Care Specialist. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Kathleen joined Sturdy Health Rehab in 2015 as a Physical Therapist in both the outpatient and acute care hospital. Prior to taking on the role as Director of the department, Kathleen served as the department’s Rehabilitation Education Coordinator for both the inpatient and outpatient Rehab department. Kathleen specializes in the geriatric population, fall prevention, and both non-surgical and surgical orthopedics. 

Sheri Kenney, MPT
Operations Supervisor, Inpatient Rehabilitation Services

Sheri KenneySheri graduated from American International College in 1998 with a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy. She has been with Sturdy Memorial Hospital for the last 20 years. She is the Inpatient Operations Supervisor of Rehabilitation Services. She is an APTA certified Clinical Instructor and serves as the department's Clinical Education Coordinator. She has special training in vestibular rehabilitation and focuses her time in the evaluation and treatment of our acute care patient population. She enjoys working with orthopedic patients, balance issues, vestibular diagnoses, and the geriatric clientele. She is involved in promoting and educating the importance physical therapy has in the acute care setting. Sheri is a married mother of two boys who loves spending time with her family. Her and her husband also share a love for Halloween and have a large display every year where Sheri designs and creates many of the props used.

Daniel Poisson
Operations Supervisory, Outpatient Rehabilitation Services

Daniel Poisson

Dan graduated from Northeastern University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy and a Master of Science Degree from Bridgewater State College in 2001 in Sports Management with a concentration in Athletic Training. Over the course of his 25-year career he has worked as a PT in various hospital clinics and private practices and as an Athletic trainer in various high schools and colleges. Dan has been with Sturdy since 2012 and is currently the Operations Supervisor of Outpatient Rehabilitation Services at Sturdy Health. He specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation, working with both surgical and non-surgical patients of all ages.
