Sturdy Health’s Vice President & Chief Development Officer, Coleen Resnick, and Director of Breast Oncology, Dr. Asma Latif, receive a generous blanket donation from Patriot Subaru and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Attleboro, MA, junio 17, 2025 – For the tenth consecutive year, Patriot Subaru of North Attleboro and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) have donated 80 blankets to cancer patients at Sturdy Heath.
The donation Lunes is part of the annual ‘Subaru Loves to Care’ initiative, which provides warm blankets, patient care kits, and encouraging messages in support of patients facing cancer.
“We want the patients at Sturdy to know that they’re not just supported by their care team, but also the whole community,” said Mark Perryman, managing partner of Patriot Subaru. “This is just a small way for us to give back to a wonderful organization that does incredible work every day.”
Subaru retailers around the country donate blankets in junio, despite the warm weather, because cancer patients often get cold during their treatments regardless of the season.
“Cancer treatment leaves many patients feeling vulnerable, so these blankets aren’t just about physical comfort, but also a symbol of hope,” said Coleen Resnick, vice president and chief advancement officer at Sturdy Health. “We’re grateful to Patriot Subaru and LLS for offering both warmth and compassion.”
In addition to blanket donations, the Subaru program has supported over 2,300 pediatric blood cancer patient households nationwide through the ‘LLS Urgent Need Pediatric and Young Adult Program.’ This fund helps offset critical non-medical expenses such as transportation, food, and housing.
