MySturdyHealth is the Sturdy Health Patient Portal from Cerner, our electronic health record provider. MySturdyHealth allows you to access and manage portions of your personal medical record. Please note that MySturdyHealth only displays patient information that occurred on or after Octubre 19, 2020.

What is Cerner?

Cerner is our electronic health record (EHR) provider. Cerner allows our providers at both Sturdy Health’s Sturdy Memorial Hospital and all Sturdy Health medical practices to connect on one secure platform. This helps streamline and coordinate your care and provides you with access to the MySturdyHealth patient portal where your medical information from all your Sturdy Health providers can be found.

How do I set up an account on the Sturdy Health Patient Portal?

As a patient, you can set up your account the next time you have a visit at Sturdy Health’s Sturdy Memorial Hospital or one of Sturdy Health’s medical practices. You’ll be asked if you would like an invitation to sign up for the patient portal. If you do, you’ll be asked for your current email address. You’ll receive a secure email with an invitation to sign up for the portal. We encourage you to sign up as soon as possible to ensure your information is correct and further guarantee you have access to your medical record if you need it. Please know, the login link sent to your email will expire after 90 days. 

If you don’t have any upcoming appointments at Sturdy Health’s Sturdy Memorial Hospital or one of Sturdy Health’s medical practices, please call the practice where you are normally seen or go to the Hospital to visit the Health Information Management Department located on the ground floor of the Hospital. 

Upon your visit, our staff will assist you with setting up a portal account. Please note that if you have not had any visits to either the Hospital or one of our medical practices, you will not have any health reports or data in the Sturdy Health Patient Portal. You will have access to other features, such as messaging and requesting appointments.

Your activation code expires after 90 days if you do not register your account. Additionally, if you set up your account, the activation code will no longer work. Activation codes cannot be reused. If you need a new activation code, call the practice you normally visit or 508-236-8633. 

Yes! You can download HealtheLife in the App store on your iOS device or the Google Play Store on your Android device. Simply search for HealtheLife by Cerner and download it for free. You can also access MySturdyHealth right from your web browser on your computer. 

Is my past medical history information available on the MySturdyHealth patient portal?

No, only your health information from appointments on or after Octubre 19, 2020 will be on MySturdyHealth. This is because MySturdyHealth is a feature of our new electronic health record launched with Cerner in Octubre 2020. As it is a new system, only your new medical information will be available in the patient portal, all of your previous medical information is kept in your medical record. If needed, you can obtain copies by calling (508) 236-8300.

What features are included in the Medication Section of MySturdyHealth?

The medication section of MySturdyHealth allows you to:

  • View a list of your active medications
  • Access information about the medications you are taking
  • Request medication refills from your provider
Why is MySturdyHealth missing some of my current medications?

The medication listing in MySturdyHealth reflects only those medications that have been prescribed by a provider within the Sturdy Health network of care. If you have been prescribed medication by another provider outside of the network, it will not be in your record until your next medical appointment with a Sturdy Health provider.

Can I access my visit notes on the MySturdyHealth Patient Portal?

If you receive care at Sturdy Health’s Sturdy Memorial Hospital or at one of the Sturdy Health medical practices, your provider’s care notes will be included in your patient portal. Notes from providers outside of Sturdy Health will not be in your MySturdyHealth Patient Portal.

When can I see my test results using the MySturdyHealth Patient Portal?

At Sturdy Health, we believe it is important that you have access to all of your medical information as soon as it becomes available. To ensure this happens, we release all notes and test results to you immediately. Because of this, you may see your results BEFORE your provider has had adequate time to review them. 

Can I send messages to my care team using MySturdyHealth?

Yes! You can communicate with your care team on MySturdyHealth through a secure online messaging system. You will receive portal notifications in the messaging inbox. Your care team will make every effort to respond within two business days.

Do not message your care team if you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 9-1-1 and get to your nearest emergency department for immediate care.

What should I do if I have questions or concerns about the health information in MySturdyHealth account?
If you have any questions or concerns or do not understand something in your health record, please contact your provider directly to discuss further.

Can I request an appointment using MySturdyHealth?

Please note that MySturdyHealth only displays patient information that occurred on or after Octubre 19, 2020.

Where can I see my upcoming appointments?
All of your successfully scheduled appointments can be found in the “Upcoming Appointments” list on your portal. If you have appointments that have not yet been confirmed, these will display in your “Appointments” section with a pending status.

Can I pay bills through MySturdyHealth?

Bills from Sturdy Health can be paid online at www.sturdyhealth.org/pay-my-bill. The secure online bill payment option can be accessed by clicking the link below, clicking Pay My Bill from the homepage in the upper right, or through the link in MySturdyHealth. In order to pay the bill, you will need the access code on the bill.

Do I need any special equipment to access MySturdyHealth?

You need access to a computer or mobile device, an email account, and an internet connection. 

Security measures are in place within MySturdyHealth to prevent unauthorized access. Health records and information can only be read by those who have a correct username and password to login. To further protect your information, do not share this information with anyone. 

We encourage you to keep your personal information up to date in the portal so we have your correct information. If you need to update your address, phone number, etc., you can do so in the Patient Information section of your portal. You can access this section from your MySturdyHealth home page. Click the menu next to your name in the lower left corner of your homepage and choose “Patient Information.”  

Your provider uses the metric system as the standard of care. All of your medical information in your MySturdyHealth Patient Portal is pulled from the Electronic Health Record (EHR) used by your providers to log your medical information. There is a link on the homepage to convert these metrics to pounds, Fahrenheit, etc.

When you request a prescription refill through the portal, you can either select your current preferred pharmacy or choose a new pharmacy by selecting the “other” option. Your medication will be sent to the new pharmacy you choose and that location will become your new preferred pharmacy for that medication.

Yes, if there is no activity in your portal after a certain length of time, you will automatically be logged out of your portal session.
