How do you approach care?
My approach to care is patient-centered and relationship-driven. I treat each patient as a whole person, considering their medical needs, lifestyle, and family context. I value continuity, trust, and open communication, and I strive to create a collaborative environment where patients feel heard and actively involved in their care. My goal is to provide thoughtful, personalized care that supports both immediate needs and long-term health.
What inspired you to pursue a career in healthcare and your specialty?
I was drawn to healthcare by a desire to make a meaningful, lasting impact on people’s lives. What inspired me most about family medicine was the opportunity to build long-term relationships and care for patients across all stages of life. Being part of my patients’ lives—not just during illness, but in prevention, growth, and major life moments—has made family medicine especially fulfilling and continues to motivate my work every day.
Why did you choose to join Sturdy Health?
I was drawn to Sturdy Health because of its strong commitment to community-based, patient-centered care, which closely aligns with my approach to family medicine. I value organizations that prioritize continuity, access, and building meaningful relationships with patients and their families.
What excites me most is the opportunity to be part of a health system that is both community-driven and fully-integrated, with an emphasis on quality of care and collaboration. I’m particularly interested in contributing to a team that supports long-term patient relationships and values the role of primary care in improving overall health outcomes.
What are your personal interests?
I enjoy traveling and exploring different cultures and cuisines, with Japan being one of my favorite destinations. I’m a bit of a foodie and love discovering new restaurants and dishes. Outside of that, I value staying active—I enjoy running and going to the gym regularly. At home, I have a supportive husband and a dog named Cooper, who keeps life fun and active.
