Frequently Asked Questions

Why did I receive a bill?

You may have received a bill as a result of the co-pays and deductibles on your health insurance. If you have additional questions, you may call our Billing Department for more information.

Why am I receiving multiple bills for one medical service?

In addition to your hospital bill, you may receive additional invoices for select services. Physician billing and hospital billing are separate. The hospital will send you one bill and the physician who provided services for the hospital component will also send a bill for his/her charges.

As we transition to a new bill pay system, you may receive more than one bill for services provided. Bills for services provided prior to October 19, 2020 will be on one bill and services provided after October 19, 2020 will be on another. These are not duplicate bills.

Can I arrange a payment plan?

For balances owed to the Hospital, please call the Patient Financial Services office at 888-894-0926. For balances owed to Sturdy Health Medical Group, please call 774-203-2900.
