Sturdy Health's primary care providers (PCPs) offer exceptional healthcare to you and your family during each stage of life, starting at birth. Your PCP provides routine care, including check-ups, immunizations, and care during common illnesses for every member of your family.
We offer primary care providers in several of the towns we serve. You get easy access to your PCP and remain connected to the vast network of Sturdy Health-affiliated specialists and state-of-the-art hospital facilities.
Providers specializing in internal medicine and family medicine physicians offer primary care. Internists primarily see adults, while family medicine physicians care for both children and adults.
Same-day sick visits are available. Call your PCP for treatment for:
- Flu-like symptoms
- Allergies
- Minor injuries, such as sprains
- Lacerations
- Abdominal Pain
Urgent Care
If your PCP's office is not open and you're in need of urgent medical attention, our urgent care in Plainville is open 7 days a week. For more emergent issues, our Emergency Department at Sturdy Memorial Hospital is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you're experiencing an emergency, you should always call 911 and proceed to the nearest emergency room.
