Emma Becker, FNP-C is a family nurse practitioner and primary care provider at Sturdy Health Primary & Specialty Care – Mansfield in Massachusetts. Emma earned her Master of Science in Nursing at Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and minor in Spanish from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Emma completed her family nurse practitioner clinical training at Sturdy Health Primary Care in North Attleboro and Norton, Massachusetts.
Every patient I meet has their own story and goals for their health. I believe it is crucial to incorporate a holistic, patient-centered care model that allows patients to set realistic and achievable goals while prioritizing disease prevention, or progression, and balancing their unique lifestyles. My goal is to be able to help educate and guide my patients in treating their current conditions and preventing new issues.
I have always had an interest and a passion for healthcare. During my time as a registered nurse in the hospital, I saw that there was a lack of primary care providers who could follow up and manage chronic conditions. I found a new passion for primary and preventative care to help keep patients out of the hospital and live healthy lives.
I grew up in the area and worked as a registered nurse at the hospital after graduating nursing school. I love being able to give back to my community and working with other Sturdy Health employees who share similar goals.
In my free time, I love exercising and staying active, such as lifting weights in the gym, taking a spin class, hiking, and snowboarding. I also love to travel, especially to Maine where I spend a good amount of time with my family. A goal of mine is to visit as many of the national parks in the United States as I can! I also like reading a good book, baking a yummy treat or loaf of sourdough bread, and spending time with my friends, family, and pets.
