How do you approach care?

My approach to care is built on a patient-centered partnership. I aim to serve as a trusted guide and advocate for my patients’ best interests. My primary goal is to ensure mutual understanding: I want every patient to fully comprehend their condition and their treatment plan, ensuring we are always “on the same page.” To accomplish this, I prioritize open communication and shared decision-making, empowering patients to feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in their own care journey.

What inspired you to pursue a career in healthcare and your specialty?

I pursued a career in medicine because I was driven by a desire to make a positive impact on individuals and the community as a whole. I chose family medicine specifically because continuity of care is profoundly important to me. This specialty allows me to establish long-term patient relationships, follow families through different life stages, and provide comprehensive care across a lifetime.

Why did you choose to join Sturdy Health?

I chose to join Sturdy Health because their vision, “We will be a trusted partner to our patients, communities, and each other — inspiring hope and enabling better health and quality of life” perfectly aligns with what originally inspired me to become a physician. This commitment to community and partnership is what truly makes me excited to work at Sturdy Health and contribute to their mission.

What are your personal interests?

Outside of my practice, I enjoy spending quality time with my family: my wife, two children, and our dog. We also love cheering on our favorite local teams! You can often find me watching the New England Patriots and the Boston Celtics.
