Dr. Harris earned her Doctor of Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Connecticut College in New London. Dr. Harris completed her residency in family medicine at LewisGale Medical Center in Roanoke, Virginia. Dr. Harris has a special interest in Women’s Health and welcomes new women to her practice.
How do you approach care?
My approach starts with a listening ear. My goal is to get to know every patient so that I can effectively address their needs. This is crucial for a solid doctor-patient relationship.
What inspired you to pursue a career in healthcare and your specialty?
I’ve wanted to be a doctor since I was a little girl because I had an amazing pediatrician. I chose family medicine because we do a little bit of just about everything for everyone regardless of their age.

What are your personal interests?
I love to travel with my family. I also enjoy volunteerism. We have a pet dog named Sky who is an absolute 80-pound love bug.
