Sturdy Health has earned national recognition from the American Medical Association (AMA) as a Joy in Medicine® organization, honoring its commitment to reducing burnout and supporting the well-being and professional fulfillment of physicians.
The AMA’s Joy in Medicine Health System Recognition Program recognizes health systems, hospitals and medical groups that have demonstrated a commitment to addressing the systemic factors that contribute to physician burnout and creating healthier, more supportive work environments.

Sturdy Health is one of 92 health organizations nationwide to earn recognition this year. Honorees demonstrated efforts across areas including leadership, teamwork, workplace efficiency, assessment and organizational support.
Since its inception in 2019, the Joy in Medicine program has recognized more than 250 organizations across the country for their work to improve physician well-being and address the root causes of burnout.
