Sturdy Health Cardiology

Patients who need evaluation or treatment for a heart condition can receive personalized care through Sturdy Health Cardiology. Our board-certified cardiologists diagnose and manage a range of heart conditions and collaborate with your primary care provider and other members of your care team to coordinate your treatment.

Cardiology services performed on site at Sturdy Health Cardiology include:

Cardiac Care at Sturdy Memorial Hospital

Our hospital-based services include 24-hour cardiology consultations, EKGs and echocardiograms, cardiac rehabilitation, and specialized hospital care, including an Intensive Care Unit with state-of-the-art technology and equipment.

Cardiac Testing

We offer non-invasive cardiac testing within Sturdy Memorial Hospital to help your care team evaluate your heart health.

  • EKG (Electrocardiogram)
An EKG is a test that records the electrical activity of your heart. It can help identify abnormal heart rhythms and other signs of heart problems.
  • Echocardiogram (Echo)
An echocardiogram uses ultrasound waves to create moving images of your heart. It allows your care team to see how your heart is working, including how well it pumps blood and how the heart valves are functioning.

Vascular Services

Sturdy Memorial Hospital provides several services for patients with vascular conditions, including vascular diagnostic testing through our Vascular Lab and vascular surgery performed at the hospital.

Cardiac Rehabilitation Services

Whether you are recovering from a heart condition or Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), our expertly trained cardiac rehabilitation specialists can help you feel better and get you back to living your life to the fullest. Sturdy Memorial Hospital’s exercise physiologists provide outpatient exercise and education programs to help patients gradually progress their exercise and endurance and return to their normal, daily activities.

Doctor referral is required for the following rehabilitation programs:

If you are recovering from an angioplasty, stent, bypass procedure, or heart event, ask your doctor if you are a candidate for cardiac rehabilitation.

  • VascularFITT  Program – Rehabilitation for Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD)

If you have been diagnosed with PAD and feel repeated cramping or pain in your calves, thighs, or hips, ask your doctor if you are a candidate for Sturdy Health’s VascularFITT Program.
