Sturdy Health offers both inpatient rehabilitation services at Sturdy Memorial Hospital and outpatient care at Sturdy Health Rehabilitation Services in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center at 100 O’Neil Boulevard, Attleboro, MA. Whether you need rehabilitation after a hospital stay or ongoing therapy to support your recovery, our team is here to help you move forward.Â
Our Services

Outpatient Rehabilitation Services
Our outpatient services at Sturdy Health Rehabilitation Services help you regain function, improve mobility, and return to the activities you enjoy after an injury, illness, or surgery. Our team of licensed therapists—including Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), and Physical Therapists (PTs)—works together to provide personalized, evidence-based care in a compassionate, supportive environment.
Our rehabilitation team works closely with your referring providers to support continuity of care and keep them informed about your progress. For providers within the Sturdy Health network, our integrated electronic medical record system allows us to share information and coordinate treatment plans efficiently. This helps our care teams stay connected and ensures your rehabilitation plan remains aligned with your overall care. We also work closely with Sturdy Health’s orthopedic and sports medicine providers and surgeons to coordinate rehabilitation as part of your recovery. This collaborative approach helps ensure your rehabilitation care is connected to the rest of your treatment plan.
Our Facility
Our outpatient rehabilitation center is located in a modern, state-of-the-art building located less than one mile from Sturdy Memorial Hospital. The space is equipped with advanced rehabilitation equipment to support a wide range of therapy needs, from neurological recovery to orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. The facility is fully accessible, with elevator access, and offers ample free parking for your convenience.

We are proud to offer advanced techniques and certifications, including:
- Board-Certified Clinical Specialists: therapists with advanced training and certification in their respective fields
- CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist): supporting performance enhancement and safe return to sport or activity
- Custom Splinting: expertly crafted by our OTs for injury support and recovery
- Dry Needling: performed by two certified PTs to relieve muscle tension and improve mobility
- Graston Technique® Certified Therapist: for soft tissue mobilization and pain relief
- Lymphedema Management: provided by a certified Lymphedema Therapist
- Swallow Studies: conducted with radiology to evaluate swallowing abnormalities
- TPI-Certified Physical Therapist: specializing in golf-specific movement assessment and performance enhancement
Cancer Rehabilitation
Our cancer rehabilitation program and OncologyFITT Program focuses on improving the lives of the survivors who suffer from the side effects caused by cancer treatments. Pre-Operative Total Joint Education
Sturdy Health offers extensive pre-operative information and resources for patients undergoing total hip and total knee replacements. The Total Joint Pre-Operative Education Class is designed to help you feel informed, confident, and prepared before your total joint replacement. Research shows that patients who understand what to expect before, during, and after surgery often experience a smoother recovery and greater confidence throughout rehabilitation.
Led by experienced physical therapy professionals, this class provides practical information about your surgical journey and how you can optimize your recovery.
During the class you will learn:
- What to expect before, during, and after your surgery
- Preparing your home and support system for a safe recovery
- Pain management and swelling control
- Safe mobility techniques, including walking, stairs, and transfers
- Use of assistive devices such as walkers and canes
- Exercises to promote strength and mobility
- Tips for preventing complications
- Your rehabilitation plan and recovery timeline
- When to resume daily activities, work, and recreation
