The team on the Weber Maternity unit at Sturdy Memorial Hospital are here for you! We welcome your birth plan and place YOU in the center of all your care. The team of physicians, nurses, neonatologist, and neonatal nurse practitioners gather together with you to provide the highest level of care in a warm environment.
In Labor?
If you believe you are in labor, contact your OB/GYN who may tell you to come to the Weber Maternity unit to be checked.
Our experienced obstetrician/gynecologists at Sturdy Health OB/GYN & Women's Health provide exceptional care during your entire pregnancy journey. From pre-pregnancy planning and conceiving to prenatal care, we work closely with you to provide the support and care you need.
Your birth experience at Sturdy Memorial Hospital is individual to you! If a natural birth is your goal, we can support you with hydrotherapy, intermittent monitoring, telemetry, or nitrous oxide. Our team is trained in Spinning Babies, and we support your physiologic birth. We have an anesthesiologist on call 24 hours a day for labor support. Families can also be comforted to know Sturdy Memorial Hospital is prepared to care for your newborn if additional care is needed. Through our relationship with Women & Infants Hospital, we also provide access to experts in neonatal care, including neonatal nurse practitioners and a neonatologist, 24 hours a day.
