Oncology Rehabilitation

OncologyFITT Program - Build Strength and Improve Energy
Sturdy Health's OncologyFITT Program helps you build back your strength and feel better during or after your cancer treatment.
This outpatient exercise and education program is designed to gradually progress exercise endurance and help you return to normal, daily activities. The program is medically supervised by exercise physiologists and provides an individualized FITT exercise plan (Frequency, Intensity, Time, Type) designed specifically for you and your goals. The program also provides guidance and education to help you improve your quality of life during your road to recovery.
If you are being treated for cancer or are in remission, ask your doctor if you are a candidate for oncology rehabilitation. Doctor referral is required for our OncologyFITT program.

Time - How long you will exercise
Type - The kind of exercise you do
Your exercise program will take place in our Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Exercise Facility located at Sturdy Memorial Hospital over several weeks.
